SCARLET PASSION (SOLD-Private collection)

There's something about the deep red backgrounds that I've used with my wildflowers that just makes them "pop." This 30X40 inch gallery wrap canvas is sure to be a focal point of any room. Want something a little larger? Ask about CRIMSON ENERGY, a 36X48 inch painting in similar colors. E-mail me if you'd like more information, linda@casadelinda.com. And be sure to visit my website, www.lindacalvertjacobson.com, where I have put together an online gallery for your pleasure.
UPDATE APRIL 2008: THIS PAINTING HAS SOLD AND IS NOW IN A PRIVATE COLLECTION.

LOOKING INTO SPRING (Available)

LOOKING INTO SPRING is a 16X20 mixed media, layered piece. The back layer is a stretched canvas with tissue embedded in a mix of acrylic paint and medium to create a glaze. On top of that I added the first layer of wildflowers and then topped it with glass beads suspended in an acrylic medium, which glistens when the light hits it just right. I then took a thick piece of plexi-glas and painted it with my wildflowers. Using risers on the corners, I mounted this over the canvas along with a thinner piece of plexi on top for protection. Larger installations are available on commission. Contact me at linda@casadelinda.com.
